Kipengele Kingdom *I DO NOT OWN THIS*

Tara was getting a little mad. "I can do that too," she lied. Bella looked at her, knowing she couldn't. "Show us," Brent said.

"Fine then, get me an apple," she snapped, her palms clammy.

Brent tossed her an apple. She handed it to Bella, and they set up. Bella dropped the apple, and Tara missed. The boys smirked. "That was practice," Tara said quickly. Out of no where, Bella told Tara, "I wanna try." Tara panicked a little, "No, Bella. You can't. I mean, you don't wanna." Bella suddenly shouted, "LET. ME. TRY." So Tara hurried and picked up the apple. Bella picked up the bow and arrow, and Tara dropped the apple. Bella let go, making the arrow go forward. BAM. It hit the apple, right in the core, and stabbed the target right in the bullseye. Tara's eyes widened, and the boys mouths dropped open.

"Bella I thought you failed the class!" Tara's mouth hung open.
"I DID." She stared back.
"Then how did you, how could you, how.....?"

"I don't know," Bella said. "Woah," Colby said under his breath.

"Pfft, lucky shot," Brent muttered, and everyone stared at him. "Well it was!"

"Dude, that takes skill. It's not just some lucky shot," Colby explained.

"That one said herself she failed the class. There is no way she could have hit the apple like that without it being luck-"
"Ladies and Gentlemen, we have a winner!" Tara's teacher came up and lifted Bella's arm. "Congratulations!"
"But that was supposed to be-" Tara whined, drowned out by the cheers of others.

"NOT FAIR!" Brent yelled, "Colby did the same thing!" Colby looked at the two targets. His aim was off by a millimeter and Bella's was perfect. "Shit..." Colby mumbled.

"At least you hit it," Tara mumbled, embarrassed. "Bella, I'm going to head over to Earth, they're giving away rabbits. I'll see you later."

"I wanna come!" Bella yelled, but was pulled back.

"Come on Bella, you need to come to the Lordette and accept your prize!" Her teacher beamed.
"Prize?" Bella asked, confused.
"If you win the competition, you're made into a Bender by the ruler of your Kipengele," Colby explained. "I won last year, so its no big deal to me."

"Woah, I always wanted to be a bender!" Bella said, forgetting about Tara.

Tara was already gone by the time Bella realized this, and instead of heading to Earth, ran back towards Wind, now empty, and cried. Bella was getting everything Tara ever wanted, in a subject she failed, and never cared about. It wasn't FAIR.

Bella felt so bad. "Can you do me a favor, Lordette?" Bella asked. "Sure, anything. " The Lord responded.

"Can you give the Bender powers to Tara instead?" Bella asked.
"Bella, you've earned them. Tara has not. I can not grant you that request. Be happy, you're a very smart young lady!" The Lordette beamed, and gave Bella her powers.

"You said anything." Bella said. Lordette replied, "I'm sorry anything but that," Bella paused but then said, "Tara passed all of her classes. She passed them with the highest grade in all of the classes. I, have failed like 3 of them and passed the others with a really low grade. Please, give her some powers. I don't care if they are mine or not. Please, just make her a bender!" Bella pleaded.

The Lordette shook her head slowly, and left. Colby ran up to Bella.
"What were you thinking?! You don't talk to the leader of your Kipengele that way, she could have had you arrested!"

"Sorry. I just feel really bad," Bella said, tearing a little.

"Hey, it's not your fault you did well! You should be proud!" Colby smiled. "Although I do feel sorry for her, what was her name, Tara? She got second place in the competition to me last year, so she did have talent."

"I have to go," Bella said, leaving to look for Tara.

"Okay, see you then," Colby turned back to Brent. "You couldn't have been any nicer?"
"It was obviously a lucky shot Colby," Brent rolled his eyes.
"You're never going to get a girlfriend," Colby laughed, never thinking what he said may be true.

"Tara?!" Bella yelled. "Tara?!" She repeated, a little louder. Tara was no where to be found.

Bella looked around the empty village, trying to find some source of her friend. But there were no footprints, and no sounds anywhere. "Tara please!" she yelled, hoping for an answer.

She finally decided to just go home. As she walked up, there Tara was, sobbing, on the front steps.
