Society Sucks

(Haha okay. Time skip I guess)

The next morning Alexis laid in her bed, tossing and turning, and groaning when her alarm clock turned on. She shot up, in a pile of sweat, and panted. It was just a dream, she thought, trying to calm herself down. It was three years ago, it's not your fault.

(her brother drowning. She was at the beach with him but only saw him go under when it was too late)

(Oh see I was being smart and I thought that she was 17 lol okay)

(I SAID SHE WAS A FRESHMAN. XD)

(I WAS BEING SMART)

She had been crying in her sleep, loud enough for her parents to hear.

"Great," she muttered, sitting up. She quickly dressed and braided her hair. Alexis pulled on a hoodie and ran downstairs, hoping to avoid the lecture this time.

"Lexi," her mother said. Alexis ignored her and hurried to get ready.

"Alexis, please," Her mom whined, and Alexis grabbed her iPod, putting her earbuds in.
"Sorry, first day of school, can't be late," she fake-smiled and grabbed a poptart.

She grabbed her back pack and made it to the bus just in time. She hopped on, and sat alone.

A few stops later, a blonde haired boy muttered "slut," as he passed her on the bus. Alexis immediately pulled her sweater higher, and sank lower into the seat.

"It the first day of school," a boy behind him, "wait at least until tomorrow." They both of them laughed. The last one to get on was a tall skinny girl with beautiful blonde hair. "Can I sit here?" She asked kindly to Alexis. Alex nodded slightly and slid over.

One of the guys in the seat behind them whistled. Alexis rolled her eyes and put in her earbuds.

When the got to school, they all rushed off.

Alexis walked into her homeroom class, and promptly took a seat in the corner of the classroom. Nobody behind her, no distractions. She sat down, and shuffled her iPod until it hit an Imagine Dragons song, and opened a book.

She listened to The River, she noticed one of the dudes from the bus walk in, sitting in the middle of the class.

Max yawned, annoyed. Freshman, he thought bitterly. Why was he stuck in homeroom with freshman? Mixed classes were always boring, and the freshman were the worst of all.

"Sup Max," Xzavier said, sitting down next to Max. He let out a sigh of relief, "finally someone good in my class!"

"Here's to that," Xzavier chuckled, bumping fists with Max. "What sports are you in this year?"
"Anyone that involves the ladies checking me out," Max winked.

"So the usuge," he said, "Hey are you on the football team this year?" Max nodded. Just then, Mac had entered to room. She sat in the only desk left, in front of Alexis and behind Xzavior.

Xzavier turned around. "Hey baby, where you from? I didn't know some country mass produced adorable," he stared into her eyes.

"Thanks," she said with her British accent, "And I came from Great Britian."
